Noel J Gunter Driving School has been a cornerstone of driver education in the District of Columbia for over two decades. What started as a commitment to teaching safe, responsible driving has grown into one of the most trusted names in DC driver training.
We believe that great driving isn't about memorizing rules — it's about developing judgment. Every student who sits in our passenger seat learns to read the road, anticipate hazards, and make decisions that keep them and everyone around them safe. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and the standard our students leave with.
We've simplified the process so you can focus on learning, not paperwork. Here's what to expect from your first call to your road test day.
Reach us at (202) 234-5911. We'll discuss your experience level, goals, and find a schedule that fits your life.
Whether classroom or behind the wheel, we build your knowledge from the ground up — signs, rules, and the skills that matter.
Real driving time with a patient, licensed instructor. We practice in the areas where your road test will actually take place.
Show up on test day prepared. We've practiced your routes, reviewed common pitfalls, and made sure you're ready to drive with confidence.
Your first step is a phone call. Tell us where you are and where you want to be — we'll handle the rest.
